A 68-year-old man has died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with an SUV in Clarington on Saturday afternoon.
Durham Regional Police say that sometime before 2:07 p.m. Saturday, an SUV driven by a 52-year-old Brampton man was travelling eastbound on Clarington Concession Road 7 and pulled out in front of a motorcycle travelling north on Enfield Road, about 13 kilometres east of the Town of Brooklin.
The motorcyclist, who was from Clarington, was rushed to Lakeridge Health in Oshawa, where he later succumbed to his wounds. The driver of the SUV was not injured, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
