650R FI light on

Coming back from a 2 hour road trip today my Fuel Injection light came on. I stopped, just to be safe, but there was nothing seemingly wrong. When I got home I turned the bike off and on, but that darn red FI light was staying on. So I figured I'd check the fuse box first and sure enough the 15A fan fuse was blown. That was an easy fix because I figured I have to do the FI light codes check. Good thing it was a cool day, because in the heat on summer without a fan things could have gotten rather hot!

The fan won't change anything unless you're not moving. Stop and go traffic will overheat the bike, but riding it regularly won't. Both my GSX-R 1000 track bikes are without fans.

For a street bike, fix it but I wouldn't panic unless you have a lot of city traffic to navigate.
