hey people, got a set of vortex 7 degree clip ons for my 07, CBR 600RR and a set of v3 levers, no matter how i set them up the bars crush my thumbs at full turn and the brake hits the body when turning left, has anyone had any issue's or am i just retarded?

I had the same issue when I put Woodcraft clip ons on my 05.
The OEM clip ons have a 1.5" rise, so anything less than that will give you little to no clearance.

Solution? Keep your stock clip ons like I did or order clip ons with a 1.5" rise. There is no other way around it.

post a picture of your setup.

i had the 600rr vortex clipons before...the problem with them are that they have no rise...the woodcraft clipons have rise on them, i sold my vortex clipons afterwards. the clipons would hit the front cowl, it wasnt a deal breaker since you rarely spend much time in full lock, but definitely not preferable.

Its not just clearance, you are also moving your body position, down 1.5" is a lot, could be good for your riding style could be bad...... Personally I wouldnt want to have my bars lowered 1.5", thats too low for me, makes me lean forward too much
