Also very much depends on the bike and manufacturer. Have heard second hand that the ABS system on some Suzuki and Honda sport bikes is way too conservative for the track, leading to occasional "Holy S**t!" moments where it limits hard braking and forces running on. Seem to recall there was a 44Teeth litre bike shootout a year or two ago where they complained a lot about it and being unable to change it via settings.
Not sure about whether it was fixed, or fixable via mods, but worth looking into if you're planning to track one.
Also likely only a factor of you're quick enough to be in the red group...
(Flip side is the same test mentioned above, the 44Teeth boys both raved about the S1000RR being 'uncrashable' until one crashed it. No intervention will save you from bad input in every situation.)
