went up 507 & Elephant Lake Road in my cage last holiday weekend, continued on to Barry's Bay. Road was in good shape, hadn't been on Elephant since they tore it up a few years ago. Not perfect pavement but not bad, planning to go back on my F800ST later this month.

Haven't been on 518 this year, last summer I found it very rough and would not ride it again if it wasn't repaved.

Awesome thanks for the update about your recent try in the cage that helps. I was there a month back so I know most roads are good pave and 518 is well paved just small rocks and gravel nearing Parry Sound.

I was starting to think nobody would answer.
Thanks

If your not throwing out a invite pehaps you could ask in the general comments. Only saying as you got my hopes up.. :(

But if your up in that area you should take 3 to 118 to 4 which will dump you in willberforce at 648 that you can take to 10 (elephant lake rd). 3 is great and 118 is nice going past loon lake 4 is not so good but your only on it for a bit. Last I was up on Elephant it is always crappy until u hit the Peterson turn then it is worth the ride.

I have not been up there in 2 yrs though.

yeah sorry :( I realized the mistake after posting it so I edited and kinda went anti-social on it... 3, 118, 648 is on the map :) ...

I don't think most people will be down at this kind of ride with a guy on a 250 as the lead and the first weekend with that bike, need to get familiar with the bike :)

I went to elephant and peterson earlier this year around May. It was horrible, sand everywhere, buddy in front of me was kicking up sand straight to my helmet, I had to follow him from a distance back.

The road was ride-able but not at speed.

I'm not sure if it's still like that.

i think to avoid popo with video equipment, it should be noted that mentioning the numbers '507' on this sight and the idea that riders on certain dates be at that location, should not be mentioned...

Totally agree there, but popo is bound to be there no matter what ...but reducing chances by not saying anything other than my possible draft  ..
all jokes a side I don't think popo would sit there all day just waiting for me to ride by on a 2012 Candy lime green which was totaled lol
