46mm socket?

I'll try Princess Auto and Napa, and then order it online if I can't find it locally.. but was wondering if anyone had one and was willing to rent it out for a day or two? I need it to remove the rear axle nut and was hoping to get my tires changed this week.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

I got one about 4 years ago at Sears in the tool section.

Oops! Just checked & mine is a 36mm from Sear which fits a Suzuki rear axle.

I take it there is no axle wrench in the bike's tool kit. Every bike I have owned had one.

If you don't mind, what bike uses a 46mm axle nut? I know street bikes with 32 & 36 mm.

Do you know anyone who has a laser? When I needed a 49mm wrench for the forks I was working on I just cut myself one out of 3/16" steel

Did you check Brofasco? They would be most likely to have one in stock.

bought mine from eBay. impossible to find a 46mm

i have one you can borrow - message me if you need it

You might have better luck finding an 1 13/16th socket. I should have one around somewhere..

I'm in Waterloo,so can't help you.I have a 40/46 socket for my Hyper.Perhaps another Duc owner?
Blue Streak Racing can get them.Made by Oberon i think.

Ikan, Wingman - Yes, it's a Ducati.. an '04 S4R. The older Ducs use the 41/46 sockets for sprocket/rear axle nut removal.

Whtlne, Torren - thank you both for offering to lend me the socket.. much appreciated. I've ordered one that should arrive in a few days so I'll wait for it.

princess auto in hamilton has them both
try local store in your area or drive out under $30 for both and socket adapter
