Coming home from work saw EB lanes closed past 400 and 680 news stated male motorcyclist deceased and female passenger injured around 3am...

One person was pronounced dead on scene and another was taken to hospital with unknown injuries following a collision on Highway 401 early Saturday morning.
It happened in the eastbound express lanes of the highway near Allen Road at around 3 a.m.
Reports from the scene indicate that three motorcycles and one tractor-trailer were involved.
The eastbound express lanes on Highway 401 are closed at Allen Road as police investigate.

Colin Style of the OPP Highway Safety Division told CBC News that a group of motorcyclists was riding on Highway 401 when the collision with the truck occurred, adding police have not yet determined the sequence of events that led to the fatal crash and some motorcyclists have returned to the scene to give eyewitness accounts."

"Sgt. Kerry Schmidt of the OPP said the investigation is still in its early stages."We don't have a lot of details, but we are appealing for any witnesses that may have seen the motorcycles or the truck prior to the wreck at about 3:30 this morning," Schmidt said."
 
I thought they have cameras just about everywhere on the 401 in the GTA especially in that section.
