3rd speeding ticket today :-( (State Farm)

I got my 3rd speeding ticket today. The other two happened last year. This one was 29km over. My premiums were still the same even after the 2 other tickets. I'm assuming they didn't check my abstract on last renewal.

From what I've heard, State Farm has a three ticket policy. Is this really the case? If they check my abstract on next renewal would they simply cancel my insurance?

The other two tickets were in my car..not that it makes a difference from what I gather?
 
Makes no difference, car or not. They may not have checked your abstract..they may be notified if you have a point offense. You may want to fight this one with Redline.
 
I was thinking that I should fight it. The LEO said he got me going over 50 but let me off at 29 over. Not sure if I'm taking a big chance in fighting it under those circumstances !
 
That depends... Were you really going 50 over? Judges often convict you at the original speed if you lose at trial and I'm sure I don't have to tell you the consequences of being convicted of "street racing".

I've got 3 tickets as well but they're spaced out such that I can juggle one in the court system while waiting for an older ticket to drop off. Tough to do in your situation but if it's a Toronto ticket it might be possible. When you finally get to court you can just opt to pay it if you're unprepared to defend.
