$3200 made in USA bike brand new ???? would you buy one?

Chinese imports with some extra QC from CCW (in theory). The company founder's story is that he wanted to design and manufacture his own bikes but the suppliers he approached were lukewarm. There were concerns over liability apparently. While people tend to die on motorcycles, I don't know how valid those concerns are.

Not a super-terrible bike, but a bit spotty from the reviews. I'd be thrilled if I could personally build something like that. $3000 still gets you a much more sorted Japanese junker you could rat/bob/cafe. I guess the idea is to build capital from reselling and then actually offer the "real" version he had in mind from the start.

Yeah that's true but I admire their spunk in doing it.

Not all that far off another startups first attempt

I'm sold. I want Tha Heist! I would buy one.

Sure its lacking in power but it look sweet. Reminds me of a Bobber. Great price point.

And its the perfect bike to have a chill cruise up north on or the ride to work.

So the question is; how do I get one across the border? Lol

Yeah fooking lawyers kill off so many dreams....he should kit it ......that's how the light aircraft industry got around it.

My stepdaughter would buy that as a starter bike in a heartbeat. She's height challenged and a pair of leather saddlebags with fringed.....hey she's love it.

CCW was originally somewhat evasive about the origins of the bike, which was quickly ferreted out. That's what bothered people, I think. Being more upfront would have probably worked better even if American consumers can be touchy about "foreign" products.

A kit is exactly how it should be offered. Totally disassembled in a box with vague instructions, forcing you to wing it. It would be a great learning experience.

Sure I'd consider buying one. The best part is you will probably be able to pick one up for CHEAP as a used bike in a couple of years.

I've always wanted a little cruiser or racer for beating around town that is cheap on insurance!

Curious if that's the Canadian price and what insurance is like as well!!

I'd love to pick one up, however as noted in an earlier reply/post.... They have a TERRIBLE rep for product availability.
There's a thread on this forum (a few actually) that speak to this via first hand accounts.
