So I'm Male 26 now (turning 27 in April).
Live in King City
Got my G1 when i was 16,
G2 when i was 17
Got G Feb 6th, 2013 (yes I know, I was dumb for keeping it off).
Got M1 Feb 6th, 2013.
Doing RTI course when they start it up again in March or April.

1 accident when I was 18 or 19, not at fault.
1 speeding ticket (10 over) when I was 20.
1 administrative suspension for not paying a fine (one mentioned above) when I was 20.

Bike will be a ninja 250r (don't know year as I have not bought it yet but will be an 04-12)

What am I looking at paying and are there any brokers on here that I could call that would give me quote?

I may have a car to bring over if it calculates to a total lower cost.

Any other information needed to give a more accurate estimate?

Thanks.

Just call any broker/agent, there are many advertisements floating around GTAM. Nothing will give you a better (or more accurate) estimate than just a call.

and disable adblocker? nice try, advertiser.

Lol, like it has any benefit to me....

It was a simple suggestion where you could get many quotes for insurance that specialize in motorcycles. Its like saying "Oh! I see an advertisement so they must be bad and greedy so I'm not going to call..". Smart...

Of course, doing the logical thing is the root of all evils.

TD gave me a good rate for my 250. I was also 27 when I started riding and had a 2011 250, paid $1050 for the year. I switched over to State Farm when I got my R6 and they gave me a good quote too. I would suggest those two companies. Just a heads up, State Farm only considers your G driving record, they don't base their quotes on a riding course or your M status. Hope this helps. Cheers

As far as your record goes, your accident may be the only thing still on your record, even that may be off because they stay for 6 years. As far as the price it shouldn't be too bad for a ninja 250...
I pay 1800 at 22, so you can subtract about 40% because you're over 25 and you'll get a rough estimate...

He also said not at fault.

Seems like you have a clean record, I'm guessing about $50/month for the 250 atleast thats what I was quoted. Ended up getting a CBR600 for $112/month with Statefarm

First quote I got from SF. Should I keep shopping around or is this pretty good?

2004, 250cc bike, $1Million Liability only = $620.11/yr or $51.68/mo.
2004, 250cc bike, $1Million Liability, $500 Collision, $500 Comprehensive = $698.94/yr or $58.25/mo.
2012, 250cc bike, $1Million Liability only = $627.05/yr or $52.25/mo.
2012, 250cc bike, $1Million Liability, $500 Collision, $500 Comprehensive = $736.56/yr or $61.38/mo.

Those are really good quotes but it doesn't hurt to shop around if you haven't already. What have you got to lose other than another 5 or 10 mins on the phone or writing an e-mail?

just don't cheap out on the collision/comprehensive, I don't know why people do, for the price of a pack of smokes or a few coffees...

What LoneRonin said... Especially for comprehensive. Based on your quote, you're probably paying like $2 a month for comprehensive coverage. Better than worrying about someone stealing your bike as it tends to happen a lot during riding season. I pay about $10 a month for comprehensive just for piece of mind cause theres a good chance that I may be leaving my bike outside for long periods of time.
