250 Zzr starter

Hi guys, it's a please to be back here after many years i missed you all!!

Anyway time has come for my choke starter button to be replaced. It went dead one day after warming up the bike. Should i goto princess auto bolton for parts.

Choke and starter are 2 different things.

Sorry, i wasnt clear. My motorcycle is not fuel injected...shes a classic choke... Purrs like a kitten tho.

It's the device with thee 2 long connectors and the throttle cable. You know. Killswitch. Start.

Im not living anywhere near a shop. So thats pretty much the only way to get parts without ordering.

Are you talking about the right side handlebar switch ?
If that's the case then you'd best get the original part.
Call any Kawasaki dealer, they can order it and ship it to you.

You might be able to find a used starter switch at a wreckers. Otherwise, best to get the OEM one. Check online for a parts catalog for your year and model.

Ebay has lots, shipped to your door used for about $80. Princess auto wont have any, son works there, I live there....
