Not to be a jerk, an *** or anything like that.. purely looking out for you. I don't know how much of a new rider you are but the last thing I would recommend is for you to go on group rides with other new riders. Specially if they are like 2 or 3 weeks new. get some solo time, I know its hard to ride around by yourself at first but it is best that way. If you are dead set on doing a some group riding go with an experience rider first, get familiar with following in stagger formation and some of the signals and things to look for before you go riding with 3 or more people.

Last thing you want is to have your bike parked cuz you dropped it or were involved in a collision.

just my 2cents. I currently don't have a bike to offer you to go for a ride, but there is some nice people in this forum that can take you around and get some seat time without losing your bike or your license.

i agree with ^ andre(afelotreyu ).
I started riding when i was 13 or 14 but still when i got my 250, i did about 1800 solo before joining group rides :)

Stay safe :)

+1 and if you do, make it 2 or 3 max with people who are responsible and are experienced...emphasis on the combination of experienced and responsible, otherwise go out on your own in quiet areas first and get your primary riding skills to be habitual so they require little to no thought...to get you started... 2 finger braking period, wrists down, heads up, eyes open and no staring at your front wheel..good luck
