125 cc ... how slow can you go? :)

Do you ride a really small displacement machine? Is 250 too much? Heheheh

Just wanted to make a thread for those on less VROOOOMy machines. Group rides can get a bit boring when your mostly trying to catch up without the acceleration reserves.

Thought I'd put it out here, if there is anyone interested maybe we could do a group ride once or twice this season.

Full gear, pace principals, no highway, no stunting (lol...if it's even possible), safety above all else.

Keep an eye out and reply if you're interested. Ride safe y'all!

Although I thought about joining on one of those...

This is really a "less than" 250 initiative...I should've been a little clearer with the initial post.

Think more cbr 125...I've ridden with 250's as well, and they've got a bit more grunt especially in the straights. It's boring for the slow bikes, and most definitely boring for the faster bikes. (assuming they want to go faster).

Yup... makes sense.

Now I see that I can't change the thread title...

ah well... I don't suppose there are more than 2 people this thread would apply to anyhow.

i would also delete how slow you can go part , ppl might think you ride like retarded slow , i would say 125 group ride (easy pace) ...

Re: 125 cc ... how slow can you go? :)

LOL!

meh... full gear and pace principles takes care of that. I can't say "easy pace" because that wouldn't be the case.

Re: 125 cc ... how slow can you go? :)

Because there is so many 125 fast paced rides lol......

lol true.

I would be down for BOTH shooting and biking, OP, if your name is any indication of your interests.

Not that I've ridden litre bikes, but I'm pretty sure no matter what I ride I'll always be the type to do just under 15km over limit on local roads, and 10-30km over limit on the highways. Smooth and steady starts, stops, turns, and merges make me happiest. Thank god I don't need speed and stunts to enjoy the ride.

Re: 125 cc ... how slow can you go? :)

I'm interested depending on where these rides would be headed :P
