$20g's payout if you can catch "the vaulter"

He's actually robbed the scotiabank at my plaza twice. He targets scotiabanks because they keep money next to the tellers. It isn't much, but it's not safe like TD or other banks.

don't understand why no one boshes him over the head with a chair

don't see a gun, or knife. He just jumps over, smash and grab kinda thing.

Guess he only tries it when there are 'weaker' looking employees?

All the tellers there are obese except one. I'm afraid they will get a heart attack taking a swing at him.

that guy has got no manners....always in a rush to make a deposit and won't wait in line

All you'd need is to drag him down to the ground as he'd fall off the desk/counter and then kick the crap out of him :D

The tellers are probably thinking why risk physical injury over a few bucks, especially when that stuff is insured. I don't blame them. When I go to work, my main concern is to make it back home in one piece, so I make sure I follow every possible safety practice there is. Wrestling with a bank robber probably wouldn't fall under that category.. Now, being a reasonably fit guy, my sense of civic duty might override my common sense under the circumstances, but I honestly couldn't tell you what I'd do as I've never been put in such a situation.

What makes me laugh are the security working at these banks. What are they there for? Some of them in North York look like they're in their 40s-50s.

They are there as a part of a security theatre.. Probably lower the insurance rates a bit, too. He ain't gonna risk his life for $15 an hour.
