2016 Honda Cbr500r new look?

Definite improvements. The current 500 styling is a little anonymous, a little "soft" now. I like the more aggressive appearance shown there.

Would be "nice" if they offered a CBR500RR version that had an additional 10-15HP over the LAMS-friendly 47HP figure available now.
 
Honda designed the entire 500cc lineup to comply with the 47hp figure. The CB500's are selling like hotcakes all over Europe. There is no point to a beefed up RR version, just move to the CBR650 if you want more power but don't want to make the leap to the CBR600.

This pretty much. When I test rode the old 500, it seemed a lot like my 250, but much heavier and with more grunt at highway speeds. The 650R was in an entirely different league, and feels like a softer/toned down version of the 600RR. Actually bought the bike because it gave me everything I needed for riding on our roads, with a lower price tag, less risk of theft, and much lower cost for insurance.
 
I know they "won't". I just said it would nice if they did. :)
 
hi conundrum...pm'd you with a question about your 650
 
the new 500r looks promising...only fly in the ointment will be how they price it...you can already get the cbr650 for not much more than the 500

The accent on the exhaust gives it a lil something more too
 
meanwhile the 600rr soldiers on with the addition of an exciting "bold new colorway"....

It's a mini vfr. I like it a lot and the adjustable preload forks are a nice addition.

So bold they took it off the 08 125...Honda has gone as stale as ****.

I was strictly comparing the exhaust, that's it. Take a look at the CBR and tell me its not a copy. It about an inch shorter but has the exact same end cap and design on that triangular plate thingy, even cuts off at literally the exact same angle.
