Last Updated Thursday, September 15, 2016 6:13PM EDT One person is dead following a collision between a motorcycle and a dump truck in North Dumfries.
The collision was reported around 2:30 p.m., on Dumfries Road near Cedar Creek Road, west of Cambridge and northeast of Ayr.
Waterloo Regional Police say the motorcyclist, a 61-year-old Kitchener woman, was pronounced dead in hospital following the crash.
Her name has not been made public.
The driver of the dump truck, a 62-year-old man, was not hurt.
Police believe he was turning into a driveway when his truck collided with the motorcycle, which was coming from the opposite direction.
Speed and alcohol are not considered to be contributing factors.
