Two motorcyclists have been taken to hospital after their vehicles collided on the 401 near Guelph Line.
It happened in the eastbound lanes at about 2 o'clock on Thursday afternoon.
OPP Sergeant Kerry Schmidt says their injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.
He says it appears traffic began to slow and the drivers lost control.
An air ambulance was called in but later cancelled.
