Halton police officer injured in motorcycle crash on QEW in Burlington

A Halton Regional Police Officer suffered non life-threatening injuries when his motorcycle crashed while exiting the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) Saturday afternoon.
The officer in his 30s was near the westbound off ramp at Guelph Line around 2:30 p.m. when he was involved in a single motor vehicle collision, local police said.
Photos from the scene posted on social media show the Halton officer's motorcycle in the ditch pressed up against a damaged metal fence.
The Ontario Provincial Police is now investigating.
