2015 Auto Show

Rumour has it that the car is being pulled and shipped to Geneva mid show.

Pretty ghetto if they do that.

Oh boy, here we go again.

This car doesn't interest me. But none of the exotics do, because I'll never own one. Aside from being too expensive, they're just not my cup of tea.

The 'Vette, and the Alfa-Romeo 4C, are not completely out of reach.

I'm much more likely to get something like a Fiat 500 Abarth, or a Ford Fiesta ST. I would test-drive a Sonic RS. Sorry, Fit, Yaris, Micra, Mirage need not apply.

Robert Herjavec's Ferrari LaFerrari is going to be there too.

Feast your eyes on it, cause its likely the only time you'll ever see one in the flesh....

One does not pay and go to a car show to look at a Fiesta lol.

LOL No ... But I could sit in a 'Vette. Not the NSX (nor the Alfa, for that matter).

If money is no object and you want a sports car, I think the Ford GT is the way to go. (And it's not actually being built by Ford ... it's being built by Multimatic)

Thing of beauty ... the Tucker in the vintage car display. *That* captured my attention for a while.

Says the guy who bought the most bonkers motorcycle ever designed

Oh no I missed it. It's ok. I'll go check out the my friends R8. You know, where acura borrowed their design cues from?

Not spending $20 plus parking and travel time to wade through big crowds of people and watch cars turning on a platform because manufacturers are too chintzy to provide models you can sit in. I don't make the trip to just look. Any auto maker that can't provide accessible cars should be kicked out. I stopped going to car shows years ago, the experience was not satisfying at all.

Speak for yourself, I look at them all. Even curious about the Micra. Less interested in all those exotics you can barely see through the crowds, never mind poking and prodding them. Though the Ford GT will get a good glance from these eyes.

Finally, you are coming to your senses .... LOL .... I would take the Fiesta ST over the Abarth (drove that one) personally. Still have to try the Fiesta though. I love the Alfa, but its not worth 60K to me .... if I go higher than Fiesta's price, I'd probably opt for GTI or Audi S3 (but Audi would have to bring back the hatch). I'd probably consider the MINI again ... really like it (so far).

Are you serious? I had no idea and was actually contemplating to go visit this year ... I guess not. I hate crowds, more so when you cannot even sit in most cars??

I wouldn't go to the motorcycle show, if I could not sit on bikes ... what's the point? Maybe to close a good deal on a car ... somehow doubt they would offer that.

I'm going because it's an international event

Here's a bonus for going to the car show...

We went on Family Day. Was a bit of a zoo but not as bad as I thought it would be. Interesting that it is the two halls now and the Roger's Centre is no longer part of the show. It actually works better this way because you can actually see everything in a reasonable amount of time.

When I go I obviously check out some of the exotics but I really go to be able to check out and sit in all of the vehicles I am currently considering for my next vehicle. Nice to be able to do this without the salesmen/saleswomen asking when you are planning to buy etc.

Going today. Hopefully they have exhibits left!
