A motorcyclist is suffering life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle crash in Vaughan, York police say.

The single-vehicle crash happened just before 2 p.m. Saturday on Teston Road just west of Highway 400. The victim, a 31-year-old man, was airlifted to the hospital.

There has been no word on what caused the crash.

Police continue to investigate.

The police say the area is expected to be closed for hours.

This happened on Cityview Blvd just by the SB 400 exit. Road was blocked off and I spotted a red sports bike with some black graphics on the side, likely a CBR, mangled on the ground by the fences. Was a bad sight to see...

Heard that motorcyclist was cut off by a vehicle, driver female wasn't even aware and drove off
Motorcyclist got up phone his family tell them what happened he died of internal bleeding and had a heart attack at hospital. .sad weekend. It was his b day and he was heading to the gym R.I.P .God speed

So many bad drivers out there!....I was cut off in my car by a women in a black Land Rover....she was completely unaware!!

Sorry to hear about your friend...such a tragedy, especially on his bday. Unbelievable that he was able to call his family, and then had a turn for the worse.

I was on vacation and heard about this :( .. Only minutes from my home. RIP and condolences to the family !

This wasn't a red and black ducati 848 evo was it? Looks like a Honda in the pics off the internet now that I looked for them
