Motorcyclist airlifted to T.O. following crash in Barrie

A 42-year-old man has been airlifted to Toronto with life-threatening injuries following a motorcycle crash in Barrie Tuesday night.
According to Ontario Provincial Police, a Honda motorcycle lost control and travelled into a ditch off the ramp from Mapleview Drive to southbound Highway 400 at around 7:15 p.m.
The driver of the motorcycle was initially without vital signs at the scene but was later revived, police said.
The man was transported to a local hospital and later airlifted to Toronto.
Police continue to investigate.
