GWS Rider.

You don't see many single vehicle crashes where both wheels are torn off the bike. Hopefully the rider pulls through.

WARNING story has graphic details of injury.

A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries Sunday after he crashed along the Queen Elizabeth Way in Oakville.
The rider of the 2010 Suzuki motorcycle lost control of his vehicle as he drove eastbound along the QEW at Bronte Road around 2:10 p.m., police said in a news release. The vehicle crossed into the grass median on the south side of the road. The rider was separated from his bike and ended up on the Bronte Road on-ramp to the QEW eastbound.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and the man was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It’s not clear why the rider lost control of the bike.

I saw the cop working on this guy as he laid lifeless when I was strolling by on my way to the biker boyz meet. This is another sad day. Please ride safe guys and gals

I hope he pulls through ! my Thoughts are with him !

I was on my way home from up north with another rider when the traffic on the westbound QEW stopped. I jumped off at 3rd line and figured I would enjoy the north service road to bronte. Then I saw the accedent! I pulled over and watched the helicopter land, the ems and FD were working on this poor rider. They got him in the hele and took off. I have a few pics but the site will not accept them as they are to big. I exported to under 60 k same crap. The pics do not show anything anyways.

I hope this rider pulls through, for all us riders that like to be spirited when we are on the road, remember, we get one life....some of us have had many chances, be smart, be safe.

My prayers are with this rider, his/her family and friends!

Heard on the radio that his arm was reattached. Good news there. Hopefully he gets full use of it again.

Well I just found out today that Marco took Bronte Eastbound ramp at 190km hr which blew my mind. Because not even the guys that do the TT man of isle would go that fast with those turns on that ramp. So when he flipped of his bike and hit the road, the road ended up ripping of his arm and he has basically broken every bone in his body. Marco is still in a coma and not sure when he will wake up or if he will remember anything that happen and also today the doctors have attached back his ripped of arm. He will have a long recovery ahead of him. I wish him well and fast recovery.

Holy ****! I wish him the best and hopefully he wakes up soon.

I understand from his neighbour that about 10 riders were heading together, they took the QEW Toronto from Niagara sweeping ramp at a very quick pace (in excess of posted ramp speeds), were observed by police and a chase/follow began, police caught up to them when all were in the HOV lanes heading eastbound towards Toronto, one rider darted through traffic and attempted to flee, they caught up with him at Bronte. Icon sleeveless 'armour' never fears well in these incidents.

why would they cover up a police chase in the media.

GWS rider. 190 on a ramp is just insane.

He's a good friend of mine ... anyone who knows him knows what I mean when I say he is 1 of the strongest individuals I've ever met. He is still fighting for his life but if anyone can get through this he can.

Praying for you bro,
Tyler
