Citynews did a followup story. Rider was Anton Burrows, 27 of Brampton.

http://www.citynews.ca/2013/07/26/e...tim-just-learned-she-was-pregnant-with-twins/

Just weeks after learning she was pregnant with twins, a Brampton woman is now facing the prospect of raising her children alone, after her husband was killed in a motorcycle accident in Brampton earlier this week.

Christine Burrows and her husband, Anton, had been struggling to conceive and she had just completed over a year of fertility treatments when she learned she was pregnant.

“He (Anton) laughed and he was so excited and jumped up from the nurse’s station and ran right outside and called his mom in the Bahamas,” she recalled of the moment they learned she was expecting.

“He was ecstatic.”

Last Monday, Anton, 27, rode his motorcycle to a friend’s house to share the news.

On the way home he collided with a car and was killed on impact.

“The police showed up at my door at 11 at night. They came in and sat down and told me that my husband passed away,” Burrows recalled, fighting tears.

“He always had this love for life,” she said. “We fell in love right from the beginning.”

Anton’s funeral is Wednesday.

A trust fund has been set to help Christine with the twins. Find out how to donate at the following link:

Horrible. Having a small child myself, I cannot even imagine someone delivering news like this to my family.
