2013 Pro 6 Trackday Schedule

Hey, why only 2 days at Mosport?

Looks like time for two wheels at Mosport is at a premium.I'm pretty sure the DOCC has the sat and sun inside the Pro6 days.

Damn it, I love that track. I guess I'll have to get my *** to the bike show on Friday night to book the only 2 days

You can get the schedule (and reminders) on your mobile phone at the Track Fanatics Facebook events page. FYI

From what I heard, PRO6 runs great track days...
Would love to sign up for a few days with you guys but I need to get comfortable riding track first.
Hopefully towards the end of the 2013 season.

Why don't you sign up with Fast or Racer5 and book it in May, that way you're ready to rock with Pro6 all summer long!;-)

pro6 runs an excellent track day, very professional. Of the providers I have been to, they are at the top. Only complaint (I have this with nearly everyone to be fair) I wished at 9:01 sharp we were on the track. Do the riders meeting at 8:30, give everyone 10 min after, 9:01 track opens. If people aren't ready for session 1, go out next session, that is their business. But for the guys ready to rock, let them start. It takes a lot of resources to go to SMP, bogie, etc, lets make the most of it.

What he said. P6 is great for orientating new to the track riders.

P6 docc x 2 P6. Prob solved but I will be dead after.

I'll look into it, Sal. Thanks for the heads up...

I didn't know such a thing existed, Jay. Thanks a lot man!
I took the orientation last summer since it was my first time at Mosport, two main advantages to taking it.
1- it gets you comfortable by starting at a slow pace
2- they show you the lines, this was the best advantage as I was able to get to the 1:37 pretty fast on my first time there.

I only did the first session with the group as I I was ready to go on my own by the second session.

A short orientation might not be enough to someone that is completely new to track riding in general, particularly at Mosport or Calabogie ... those tracks can take a while for someone to get up to speed, combine that with trying to learn the ins and outs of riding on the track in general, AND those tracks are not forgiving for rider errors.

My opinion is that you should do a one-day school at a smaller track (FAST or Racer5, doesn't matter) then do whatever track days you want after that.

Only two Mosport days?
