Just drove past; the reconstruction team is there now. It's only a block from the scene of the fatal crash about a week ago. GWS rider.

WTF, the news page is now updated with pictures. The bike is tangled in a fence with part of the fairing quite far away. Hope the rider pulls through.

Another update

“[The motorcyclist] was flying by,” said witness Darla DiBernardo. “It looked like a dark minivan pulled into the lane he was travelling [in] which caused him to swerve and lose control.”

City got the age wrong. Media release from Peel Police:

Brampton – Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision, involving a motorcycle and a vehicle, earlier today.

On August 29, 2012, at approximately 11:02 a.m., the victim, a 27 year old resident of Brampton, was operating a 2004 black Suzuki motorcycle on Bovaird Drive West approaching Chinguacousy Road. At this time the motorcycle collided violently with a 2009 grey Mazda, which was being operated by a 34 year old female from Mississauga. The collision, which occurred close to the intersection, caused the victim to be thrown from the motorcycle.

The victim suffered very serious injuries as a result of the crash and was airlifted to a Toronto area Trauma Centre, where he remains in critical condition. The driver of the Mazda did not sustain any injury.

Members of the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision, or who may have seen the vehicles prior to the crash.

I live a stone throw from that intersection. It's a very dangerous one. A lot of serious accidents there recently. For those who live in Brampton or go through that intersection slow down while going through and do your safety checks. GWS rider, I hope he makes it.
