2012 Remaining Sports Bike inventory deals

I plan to get a new bike and was wondering if anyone know of any good deals currently on any remaining inventory of SS bike.

BRAND NEW from dealerships.

I am a bit older so I am ok with 'litre' bike or maybe even go down a notch for a 600. I am quite flexible but preference is Kawi or Yamaha wanted to try something different than my CBR.

I am a hopeless 'deal' searching cheap skate...so I would pick a bike with the most ugliest colour scheme just to save a few hundred bucks... so please don't flame me on that.. hahaha

Why would you go from a honda to a kawi or yamaha?

Getting too comfortable with the predictable handling and reliability...hahaha

Just wanted to try something new. But if there are good deals with a 1000rr, I might consider. The brand new 2013 600rr probably won't have any deals since its a completely new model year.

I just got a CBR 1000rr. all i can say it's an incredible bike. incredible engineering and design. very comfortable ride, especially considering the bike's capabilities...
i can't imagine ever going with another brand. although i know Yamaha has a lot of fans...
before committing to a litre bike, i'd say take advantage of the Test Ride days to try em out.

I know my bike ended higher up in the price range than a 600 or a 2012 model... but well worth it. I wanted the Repsol.

i'd recommend sticking to Honda. but definitely give Yamaha a test ride see how it feels.
as for deals, i know Honda has a $500 rebate right now started first week April.

Good luck. safe ride. cheers.

I just got a 2012 gsxr 2012 for 2000 less than the 2013, NInja zx6R was even more off as the 13 is a redesign, the green wasnt for me and all they had left but thats a personal choice.

I'm also mulling over getting a 2012 CBR600RRA -- If anyone knows a dealership where one is still around (new/never owned) please post.

Thanks for the links! Could be a good option. US$7,600 for a brand new 2012 zx6r!! That's a deal

Not really considering kahuna was selling them for 9,200 all in.

7,600 + tax = 8,588 plus other fees associated with getting it across the border, never mind the cost of actually going down to get it and its a wash

Last years brand new bikes can be a great deal, I paid less than some are selling for used.

Key word being was, they aren't doing that any more.

I agree, the Kahuna deal was amazing but I heard there were only a few bikes and it got snatched up within a day or two.

Perhaps wait until end of year bike show to see if any remaining inventory at that time and if a brand new production model comes out? I know the R1 is slated to for a completely new redesign, so I guess the 2013 R1 would be deeply discounted end of year or early next year??

Has anyone bought from there? Are these US bikes? How long have they been around?
A few friends have bought from there, a few people on this forum too, search around, feedback is good.

90% of their bikes are US bikes.

Not sure how long they've been around. They've got a MASSIVE showroom, and the owner is a super nice guy. Swing in and browse around, I guarantee you'll be impressed with the place.

They're US bikes and they're all used

Hopefully Kahuna does something with the R1 or R6 when they have new redesign for next year. Just like the deep discount with the zx6r last year.
