Having an issue with the bike which started when I blew a fuse for the rear brakelight, front side lights which also had my LEDs. replaced the fuse and it promptly blew again. thought there was a wire grounded in the back which i used electrical tape to temporarily tape up and everything was okay. Took it for a brief ride and my buddy told me my brake light was out again. pulled over at a gas station and changed the fuse. which blew immediately after which i lost all power to the bike. Turn the key to on, and there is nothing, no clicking no light. Thanks to moto limo I flatbedded it back to my place. Anyone have any ideas?

These blown fuses are trying to tell you that you have an electrical problem. Just replacing them is good enough to get you home, but is not something you want to be doing everyother time you ride. What have you modified or added since you first noticed this issue?

Did you check the main fuse?

before you replace the fuse - you need to identify the source of the excessive current draw, and fix it.

Please correct me if im wrong but there is only the single fuse box under the seat? If so i checked all the fuses and they seem to be okay. I will take it to a shop and have the pros do a proper diagnostic. At my wits end. Hadnt touched any elecrtical in the past few months and it started to happen out of the blue

Get a multimeter from Ctire, they had them on sale for about $8.99 last week. Recheck what ever you touched months ago and re-insulate.
Did you drop the bike recently?
If all else fails try Heritage auto or Cycle werx. If you know a bit about motorcycle electrics or have a wiring diagram you can try Jimmy (electrician by trade) at Start auto (parliment and dundas in Toronto) and he will do the work with you, and teach you a couple tricks of the trade.

Thanks for the tips. After some research discovered the main fuse under the fuel tank was blown. Changed the fuse and also reinspected all the wires for the tail light and my buddy noticed there was a small piece of wire sticking out of the crimped wire for the license plate light. Taped that tight and performed a prayer before turning the ignition key. Fortunately it started and the lights stayed on. Thanks all!
