2009 SV650 radiator leak .

My friend had her rad hit on the highway .Is this repairable or is she looking for a new rad ?

Was it caused by something striking the rad?

If I were her I'd be checking Ebay for an inexpensive rad.

I've never had to replace mine, but I've read that good used ones are hard to come by. If you can't fix it, you may want to check out these guys:

I have no firsthand experience so I don't know how they compare to OEM, price or performance-wise.

Edit: Was checking svrider.com and someone tried the '03-'04 SV Delkevic rad on an '07 SV, and they had to do some mods for the fan mount, but managed to get it hooked up. Suzuki must have made some minor changes throughout the 2nd gen SV years.
