2009 RMZ 450 clutch issues

Hey

I am having issues with my clutch it dose not seem to disengage fully when the clutch is pulled in causing the bike to stall. I put a new cable on it last year and it is adjusted to the max that I can adjust it so I am thinking the clutch plates are worn to the the point (or past the point) of replacement. I have not pulled it apart yet I was wondering if some of you had some incite on my current situation.

This is a common issue. Your clutch basket is grooved, which keeps the plates from disengaging fully. You can file it down as a temporary fix, but you will need to replace the basket.
On the bright side, your plates and cable are probably fine.
