So my tank has a couple dings in it. I happened to find a fuel tank for a good price but the part number was different by one digit. Upon doing some research it appears this tank is for a California model '09 ER-6N. The California models have extra emission control hardware that the other US and Canadian bikes do not have. I know the tanks from the ER-6N and 650R are the same tank but I'm not sure if the Cali models are interchangeable with the non-Cali models without issues. Anyone happen to know?
