2007 vfr800 on bring a trailer- 0 miles

Current bid at 12k usd

I don't get why a 0 miles bike has an aftermarket fender eliminator.
Interesting. They bought it three years ago. Anyone know how to get the mecum sales price?

Scratches on the Tail section. It's been sat on a few times. Someone did not lift their leg high enough.

Bid @ $12,000 USD. Put a few miles on it and it's no longer a virgin bike. Value plummets.

Is there something about a 2007 VFR that makes it a crowd draw in a museum?

I like the bike but would ride it so zero miles isn't important.

I think special edition and low (actually 0) mileage might be the reason someone is willing to pay 12k usd.

I have a 2008 vfr800 , it's a great bike, but not sure if it has that much appeal and demand in collector's market. Maybe is should riding mine as well and store it , lolz

Sure it has 0 miles (if that’s legit) - but a 16 year old bike that’s never been started or ridden? It’s going to need some TLC to get it road worthy methinks. Hopefully it was stored properly.

I can't imagine anyone will ever start that bike. It should sit at zero miles forever so it doesn't really matter how it's stored cuz it should never need to be road worthy. The second it started or driven the value drops by half why would you do that.

No one is buying that to ride it.

Buy and store it away or show it off in some show room or fancy garage.

Paging Jay Leno.......Jay Leno....

Not for him. He uses them. Now, the price hit for him is minimal so maybe he buys it as a clean example to ride without worrying about previous butchery.

Let’s say Joe Anyone pays $12000 for it and rides it. Value drops to half.

Jay Leno pays $12000 and rides it and the value goes to $18000 because it was once owned by Jay Leno

I'm not sure buying a Jay Leno bike is like buying a Steve McQueen bike , yet anyway

Sounds like now is the perfect time to buy a Jay Leno bike.
