hi im dan i just recently purchesed a 2004 suzuki rm 125.
i rode it a few times its a great bike,
but i noticed one fork leaking
i have bought new fork seals, and my friend lend me all the tools needed to complete the job

but my question is, is there anywhere on the internet a STEP BY STEP way of how to do it.

which fork oil should i put in ?
how much do i put in ?? how many ml.
if anyone has any TIPS FOR ME
PLEASE WRITE SOMETHING
ANYTHING WILL HELP ME AS I HAVE NEVER DONE FORK SEALS BEFORE
DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY WEBSITES THAT WILL HELP ME??

youtube it man.

I've learned every single job I've ever needed to do on there... Including fork seals.

They may just be dirty. Cleaning might do the trick. Pop off the dust seal and use a thin feeler gauge or something similar to clean it out.

I'm sure there is a howto on YouTube if you search for it.

Even with youtube you'll probably want a shop manual for your bike to follow along with. Shop manuals REALLY help; worth the $20-30. I always go with Clymers, but I'm sure anything is better than nothing!

I just did the same job on my WR450F (SM)

Disassembly

I hung the disassembled forks upside down and let them drain into a drain pan over night.

You don't need special tools;
- use a plastic baggie (or I saw one suggestion to use a condom) instead of the fork bullet to get the seals on
- mark off a section of clear tubing (fuel line from Canadian Tire) to the proper depth and suck excess oil out

AND BUY THE MANUAL!
