2004 R1 coolant reservoir

Hi guys, my coolant reservoir is empty. I thought i needed to fill it so i tried adding coolant to the rad as (it was full).

How do i add coolant to the reservoir on a 2004 r1... its behind the rear break fluid reservoir... who designed this thing...

Any help would be appreciated.

I think you've answered your own question; remove the rear brake fluid reservoir and whatever else is required to get at the coolant reservoir (remove res cap and fill). A flexible funnel will be very helpful.

Can you access the filler? If you can, attach a hose to the bottom of the funnel and feed it in.

Yea that reservoir is a pain in the *** to get at. Definitely have to get the brake reservoir loose so you can get a funnel in there.
