2002 zx6 tach

Trying to source at tach for my track bike. Trying to spend as little as possible lol. Went to zdeno and they have factory clusters for 200 bucks. Not what I'm looking for. Any suggestions ?

$200 is not bad. You will have all the lights, temp etc working with a factory cluster.

Aftermarket tach run from $50 to $120 on average, which are simple to wire up. But you wont have your temp or oil pressure light.

All I want is tach. Not interested in speedo temp etc. can u point me in the right direction? I haven't been able to find squat really(and yes I have googled it lol).


Kellen nck has stock cluster but same price as zdenos.

Its a simple hookup, there are two common ways you can get a signal. Either coil pack #1, or a rpm pick up.....

The simplest is three wire hook up.
- RED - hot on
- Pick up wire
- Black/Grey - ground

sorry. the jegs wont' work. its a very small rpm range....find one for cheap with a large range.
