2002 Ninja 250 not start

My bike has no headlight, neutral light and oil light when I turn the key to on position, if I left the key in on position for awhile then the neutral light and oil light are on, push a start button they're off again, just hear relay click. Is this a voltage regulator/rectifier problem? Thanks for yours help
 
Dead battery.........real question is why?
 
I used volt meter to check the battery, it shows the battery in good condition around 12.5 under load, I let it charges all nite but still can't start, just hear a relay click one that's it.
 
When was the last time the bike was started?

Any maintenance or work done to the bike recently that could cause this?
 
Thanks for all your help, the problem was a loose ground cable connection. Thanks to Twostroke who found down the problem. If anyone has the symptoms like mine, check you ground cable
