Selling my first baby:
-02 zx6r, green
-minor cracks on side fairings from previous owners, barely noticeable.
-43k
-lapped valves, changed head gasket, changed clutch plates (OEM), valves adjusted, valve guide replaced, stator cover replaced with Mg cover (have original cover), cleaned carbs, new battery: All done about 10k ago
-Pazzo shorty levers, Hindle exhaust, galfer front braided brake lines, fender eliminator, tinted double bubble windscreen (all from previous owner except the levers)
-As is fairly typical of older sport bikes, the second gear can slip under heavy load (throttle hard). I drive in second gear every time I ride and there is no issue with it. This issue was there when I bought it back in 2008 and its still the same, hasn't gotten worse. Still rides like a dream.
Selling to upgrade, looking for a newer 600. Otherwise I'd keep riding this it's still in great condition. The tires should last the rest of this season, the brakes might need a change, but it looks like just the pads I think the rotors should be fine.
Looking for $3500 as is, it should certify no problem.
