Clean title!
This is not a street bike. It has no lights or signals. It could be put on the road but I do not have the parts to do it.
It was bought from another member here in March or April of this year to be my first track bike but I've decided it's just not for me. It hasn't been raced since last year, by the previous owner. Here's a copy/paste from the previous owner's thread...
2000 R6
Clean title ownership in my name.
Oil and filter change after 2 days on track or 1 race weekend ALWAYS!! Valve's were checked at beginning of last season//all were o.k. Carbs are syncronized at the beginning of every season, new spark plugs and fuel filter every season, brake fluid changed twice a year.
The bike is turn key ready and needs nothing. The body work is not in great shape, it has been repaired many times and doesn't look great, but it is still structurally sound. This bike may be a little old, but it still gets around the track pretty quickly!! Perfect weapon for middleweight. Would still be competitive in novice or middleweight and maybe even am??
Here is a list of whats done:
Ohlins rear shock (refreshed at beginning of season by PRO6)
Front forks have Ohlins springs and racetech valving (refreshed and re-valved at beginning of season by PRO6)
Scotts rotary steering damper (oil changed at beginning of season by PRO6)
Vortex clip ons
Radial mount front master cylinder (Front an 08 cbr 600)
Braided brake lines, front and rear
Hindle full exhaust
520 chain and gearing (new chain at beginning of season)
rearsets (make is unknown)
NRC case covers (left and right)
New battery and rectifier a few months ago.
Set of good D211 Scrubs mounted right now
Extra set of rims w/rotors
Probably a few more things i cant remember. The gas tank has a dent. It's a track bike so it doesn't have turn signals or lights. It's not pretty but it's still a great bike and completely straight.
Bike is fully safety wired
I have a ton of spares for this bike that will be included with sale, clip on bars, full set of OEM rearsets, clutches,a bunch of gearing, swingarm with linkage, lower fairing, front fender, brake levers, clutch levers etc.
Looking to get $2800 for everything.
