Hi everyone,
I’m putting up my cherished blue 2000 SV650S for sale as my wife and I are expecting our first baby. It is time to take a break from the world of riding and focus on the family!
As you probably already know before reading this ad, the Suzuki SV650S motorcycle is legendary for its great handling, forgiving turning, excellent stability and agility. It also generates quite a bit of attention for its "naked European” look (no fairing covering the engine).
It is a great beginner to intermediate bike that is low on insurance due to its sports touring category rather than the much higher rates on a typical sports racing class bike.
I’ve had the bike since 2006 (I’m its 3rd owner) and have only put on about 5000km for a total of ~18000 km (actually 17982 km to be precise) as I've been a weekend rider more than anything. More importantly, the bike has been kept in great condition with all original parts that still have a lot of life on them (due to its low kilometers).
I have just replaced the battery with a brand new one a few days ago (comes with receipt).
It has never been taken to a track, involved in any stunts or been in an accident. The right fairing and the spoiler both have two 1-inch long minor scratches (barely visible) that were there when I purchased the bike. They never bothered me, so I didn’t try to fix them (see pictures). Also, the front side has a couple pebble marks (very small) from use.
Other than that, it looks great, runs great and is looking for its next satisfied owner!
I'm pricing it to sell at $3200 certified or $3000 as is.
Other reasonable offers from serious buyers may be considered. (ask for Chris)

Thanks,
