So I was having fuel
pump issues on the street bike with not priming and/or leaking and/or not working. Took the pump out of my 99 race bike that I KNOW works. Decided to wire it right to the battery and see what happened...yep, it worked. So it's the relay. So I check the main relay, part #5PW 81950 00. My race bike is a 99 R6, so I was going to take it off my race bike, put it in the street bike and give it a try. Go to plug it in, and the plug isnt the right size, wtf? Part number on the main relay from the 99 R6 is #5EB 81950 00.
I go on the internets and find out the correct number is 5EB 81950 00...the same one in my race bike. The part number 5PW 81950 00 is from an R1 or a 03+ R6. How can this be? The plug is a different size! How would this even have happened?
