Hey Guys,
Selling a 2000 black matte R6 with mileage in the low 40k (can't check atm, getting a second key cut). High output halogen lights, both turn on for low/high beams. Hindle exhaust. Has minor scuffs and dings on fairings and a small dent on the right side of the gas tank. $2800 OBO.
The bike was ridden this year and just garage'd last week but not yet winterized.
This R6 feels much lighter and easier to handle compared to newer 600s. The gas tank sits lower and is much easier to push around than my K7 GSXR600. Despite its age, this bike can keep up, and is reliable. I ride this bike as a backup when my bike is unavailable and it has never left me stranded, or required any major maintenance. The tires have good life on them, probably only 1k on them or so.
No test rides, but I can ride the bike around the block for you, or you can follow behind in your car/bike. If you're coming on a litrebike or gsxr750, I will let you test ride it if you let me test ride yours =P
This bike was lady-ridden, not that it matters. I ride it more than her. I changed out the R/R a few months ago and the headlights (they blew when the R/R was toast). I have not move the R/R location. The old R/R was on there for at least 5 years and really shouldn't cause any problems in the near future.
