Ok here it is people!
I am selling my 1984 Honda VF500. I'm looking for $1200. This is a great fast reliable bike. All specs on the bike can be found here:

About this bike:
The bike starts and runs amazing! The engine is still strong and doesn't show any signs of slowing down. It starts always from cold. As you can see in the pictures I have upgraded a couple of things on the bike such as; new paint job, new mirrors, new upholstered saddle, and put a fender eliminator kit. The bike looks great! Bike has always been stored indoors.
The GOOD:
- As I mentioned the bikes starts and runs great. No engine problems.
- New Battery! Got it last year!
- New Mirrors
- New Paint Job
- New upholstered saddle
- Bikes comes with saddle bags, bike cover, and bike repair manual!
- Great price
The BAD:
- The fuel tank valve seems to only work in the "ON" position :s
( I do have another used valve that may work with the OFF and RESERVE position but i have not installed it to try)
- The rear signal lights need to be replace or repaired because they are just hanging on. (They got hit a lot because they stick out so much)
- Bike is not certified. I have no clue what and how much it will cost to certify it. I'm pretty sure you would have to get new tires and change the chain/sprocket.
- Little cracks in the rear fairing, no biggie though.
You can view a walk around of the bike here:

Who this bike IS good for:
- Someone just learning to ride. Perhaps their first bike. Just looking to ride around their neighborhood or nearest parking lot. The motorcycle has a top speed of 170-180kph but its VERY smooth and easy to control since its a V-FOUR.
- A motorcycle collector or enthusiast!
- Someone looking for a bike to mess around with once and a while up at their cottage
- Someone looking for a summer project!
Who this bike IS NOT good for:
- A serious rider who plans to use this bike to commute everyday. Sorry, i just dont think it would be worth it for you but hey its your choice!
THAT'S ALL!
As you can probably tell I am a very honest seller. Im not looking to rip anyone off. If you have any questions feel free to message me or come check out the bike in person. Test rides are allowed only to licensed and experienced rides. I would keep the bike but im going back to school in September and gotta get rid of some of the toys...
