I'm having an issue with the choke valve on my carburetor. The flaps keep moving when the bike is idling. When i give throttle the choke flaps close and cause the motor to stall. It's a dual carburetor. Is this suppose to happen?
Your saying the choke lever is loose and moving by itself? I highly doubt that is supposed to happen.
Looking at parts diagrams of the KZ440 carbs it looks like the lever has no locking spring and relies on a couple of lock nuts and nylon washers to create enough friction to prevent the lever from flailing around... However even if the lever was completely loose, the actual choke mechanism itself is spring loaded.
Is this a problem that gradually developed or did the bike always have this issue?
