1979 Kawasaki KH100 Cafe Racer

So i am buying a cafe racer KH100. It is currently halfway of becoming finished, all it needs done is things like the lights, wiring, chain, brakes and such connected for it to be finished and plated, which i will be doing myself. It is a really clean bike overall, with brand new components put on it. With it being a 2 stroke kick start, is it possible to attach an electric start to it?
Also, if it doesnt have a title, how would i go upon getting one for it? It will include a bill of sale
Any recommended aftermarket exhausts for it?

Thanks, Kyle

sounds fun, I'd not spend a nickle until your have a title, do a search here on getting a title , its been covered 32 times. I don't think an electric start was ever an option on that bike. Its possible to engineer one, it would seem un nessasary on a 100.

If you haven't already I would probably join http://www.2strokeworld.com

They have a complete "Micro Muscle" section for 2 strokes 100cc and under. There is some really great information on there and some really nice KH100 builds; and everyone is super helpful.

A real popular pipe for the KH is the Gibson that was designed for the AR80. http://www.gibsonexhausts.co.uk/ You will have to move the back bracket to match it with the KH mounting hole, or vice versa, and do a little McGuyvering to fit it

The good news is that the exhaust duration between the AR and the KH is identical so the tuned length of that pipe will be spot on for street riding and I believe the belly diameter is around 95MM and anything under 100MM will work well for a 100cc, I wouldn't want to go much over that. Plus I like the older Allspeed look on those bikes :)

I think it would be pretty difficult to fit an electric start.
