Headed to WV for the long weekend, looking for anyone interested in heading down together.
Intend to zip down Friday at noon and come back Sunday or Monday (possibly via PA). Itinerary and return to Toronto is flexible, but some roads currently earmarked for the trip are Sideroad 16, 20, 250, ascent to Spruce Knob and down into Germany Valley. This is my first trip to WV, so input is welcome as well.
Pace expected to be 'spirited' in the technical twisties, but reasonably relaxed on the sweepers. Intend to average around 700-800K/day.
If you have a Scala Headset and don't mind debating Soccer/IT/Marketing/Meaning of Life along the way - it will make for even better ride up and down (as opposed to the usual mindless music or audiobooks). However, if you are a shutter-bug and have a BURNING need to document EVERY scenic spot and road-sign, we may find ourselves at odds with each other.
