04 gsxr 600?

Hi there, I'm looking at buying a 2004 gsxr 600 used. Apparently there is some body damage to the tail but otherwise its in good shape. Price is 2000...anything in particular to look for on this year? Any reviews? Price sound fair? Thanks!

Price seems to be okay depending on how bad the damage is. Another thing to look out for is if the rectifier is okay. Those usually give issues on the gsxrs. Other than that, pretty solid bike.

Just a few with rectifier issues but that's a cheap fix. There's really nothing else to watch for other than the usual used bike stuff. Those are pretty solid bikes. 2000 is actually pretty cheap unless it's in rough shape. Make sure it's still straight.

With that said if the bike isn't complete garbage you should probably grab it sooner then later for that price.

Thx guys....apparently frame n motor are good so I don't realy care about the bodywork it'll probably end up on the track anyways ill def look into the rectifier though! Thanks again and ill def send u the info if I don't end up grabbing it....happy new years guys!
