Anybody in the GTA have experience with this issue and able to fix it? I have looked up how to and everything but don't feel confident enough to do so myself

It's not that hard to open it up and have a look see. You can usually tell just from looking whether or not something's wrong inside - stripped gears, soldered connections have come loose, etc.
Just because you have a c28 does not 100% mean it's your stva; it could be that the stps is out of adjustment. That's really easy to check.. and you'll most likely hear a rattling noise when you prime the pump. PM me if you have questions.
Thank you both for the advice. Still new to the mechanics of the bike (bikes in general) so i don't trust myself to really work on much of it. I've talked to the geek about it and he did believe it was the loose solder connection. I'll give pro 6 a call n see what they can do. thx again
