04 GSX-R 750 C28 stva

It's not that hard to open it up and have a look see. You can usually tell just from looking whether or not something's wrong inside - stripped gears, soldered connections have come loose, etc.
Just because you have a c28 does not 100% mean it's your stva; it could be that the stps is out of adjustment. That's really easy to check.. and you'll most likely hear a rattling noise when you prime the pump. PM me if you have questions.
If all else fails, there's a fella on ebay who will repair your stva for $75.. they call him the geek, he's very reputable and has been around the gixxer forums forever. Here ya go:

Thank you both for the advice. Still new to the mechanics of the bike (bikes in general) so i don't trust myself to really work on much of it. I've talked to the geek about it and he did believe it was the loose solder connection. I'll give pro 6 a call n see what they can do. thx again
