Just one big one up front haha. They aren't cheap, but I'm at a point in my life where I can spend a few bucks and not give a ****. Work hard, play hard.
When I joined this forum I was all about sport bikes. Fast forward 13 years and I just picked up a new 2018 Harley Heritage Classic with the 114 cubic inch engine (1868 cc).. I have to say, this is my favourite bike for a number of reasons. I rode a Dyna Superglide for 5 seasons and loved it...
Thanks for all the input - Any chance anyone has a route that connects all the good sections? I remember 9 and Beaver Valley being great but I know there were quite a few decent scenic roads for other parts of the ride too.
I used to ride up to Collingwood area and I remember riding some pretty great roads but it's been so long I can't remember where I was. Anyone have any route or road recommendations? Coming from the Hamilton area. Thanks!
Gotta love all the criticism from people that have probably never taken a Harley for a ride.. I have had a bunch of different sport bikes and standards and I can easily say my current 2007 FXD is my favourite bike I've ever ridden. No, they won't handle like a sport bike because they are not...
My buddy and I did this ride back in 2010 and I've been wishing to do it again ever since, honestly one of those life altering trips for me. We camped the whole way with nothing booked, without problems for the most part (just make sure you find something a few hours before dark, the first night...
I had some work done on my bike at Bronko's in Milton - I would suggest you give them a call. Had one of the nicest, cleanest looking old Triumph bikes I've seen in a while. Pretty sure it was built by the owner, and I am happy with all the work on my bike.
Interesting, their shop rate is $65/hr compared to a lot of other shops wanting $100/hr. Even if they want an extra hour or two of labour it still ends up costing less.
I called Bronko's today.. The owner sounds like a good guy and seems to know his stuff. Anyone dealt with them in the past? Good chance I'll be taking my business here.
I'm looking for a shop that has better rates than the Dealership.. my last 4 bikes were sportbikes so this is new territory for me. Any suggestions on a reputable shop that will work on HD bikes? I'm in Oakville, preferably somewhere within 45 minutes. Thanks.
My buddy and I are planning a 2 and a half day trip and were thinking about heading over towards Montreal. Planning on leaving after a half work day on a Friday, any route suggestions or must see roads? Thanks!
I've had 5 bikes since I started riding: 03 Suzuki GS500, 93 Kawasaki ZX7, 04 Kawasaki Z750, 09 Triumph Bonneville and just got my 07 Harley Super Glide for this season. My experience is pretty relevant to this thread and all I can say is that it depends on what style of riding interests you...
I purchased a Mustang Vintage Solo seat for my Superglide and I love it, only problem is I sit about 2 inches too far back.
Does anyone know of somewhere that could make adjustments to the seat to make it work? Not interested in new bars as I already changed those as well, and not interested...
Anyone know anything about this shop?
They have a bike I want (HD FXDXT).. but here's the thing.. It's a "brand new" 2001 (or 02?) model, apparently the owner purchased it as new old stock from a dealer a few years ago. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this shop because I've...
