If my ride route has Haliburton, the skyline park is the spot I usually take a break at. If I'm on a time crunch I pack a sandwich and stop by quiet side roads for a quick meal before heading back out. Just seeing if I can add some good spots to the list.
Any reccos for spots to take a quick...
Oh wow, looks like we missed bumping into each other. I was up there on Sun as well. It would have been like the abandoned street car meet up a few years ago, when I bumped into you guys lol.
Just a few rides this season so far. The weather was too good on Sun to miss riding and been a while I rode around Bancroft and the surrounding areas. Didn't try to hit all the usual routes, lower faraday road was in good shape.
The falls colours are already visible from Skyline park, and in...
Not sure if you're asking me or the OP. I'm almost sure it's the OP but I'll share my 2 cents. It's an exciting bike from what I remember (2017-2018). Pretty nimble and had enough power to keep me interested. And when I wanted to get away from the traffic, just roll on the throttle and the thing...
Welcome to the forum! Unfortunately, I know someone who (also a member here) had their DRZ stolen a few months back as well.
I'd be curious to hear about your experience on KTM Duke 200. It's a bike I have ridden a lot in the past, but in a different country. I don't think I have come across...
Thanks GG! Will look at these. Situation is not dire at present but a month from now it will be a different story.
Yes, I'm looking at indeed and linkedin.
So, I took a longer break and travelled to and across India for 4 months. It was fantastic. Now that I'm back, the job market isn't looking too promising from what I hear and my personal experience. In case anyone has leads, I'd appreciate it.
I have a Bachelors in Engineering but have worked...
I don't enjoy changing bikes too often but that maybe because I'm broke af lol.
I have always wanted a Daytona 675r for no reason at all. I watched a YT review way back when and I instantly fell in love with it. I still aspire to own one when time comes (I hope it comes). One thing I know is...
Oh wow! brings back memories just thinking about this. That too scary ones.
I rode the first time when I was 10 or 12, I don't remember exactly. Totally illegal. This was back in India, no helmet no safety gear. I had asked my then older friends about the theory of motorcycle operation. During...
I'm not sure if you're the same person, but when I did gymkhana with Ontario Moto Gymkhana, we had a cbr250 amongst us. This was 2 years ago.
Welcome!
Edit: Read the title again...;)
After owning my first hot hatch (mk4 gti) I quickly understood that maintenance and upkeep are quite important so now most of the time my wallet dictates what I own. That said, I'm older now and I thought different when I was in my 20s. I'm sure if you ask a younger crowd a lot of them would...
Nice pictures and write up Shane! I was very curious about Gaspe and I just got back from a trip around the Maritimes.
I find myself checking my pockets over and over to ensure my phone and wallet are in place while riding. So, I hope your situation resolves with a positive twist...
