Yeah they told me the same thing, I had to sort of convince them into giving me the insurance because I was licensed in 2017 and since it was in the past 3 years they were able to consider it as valid experience. I've now got my M1 and im riding which is great because my course is set all the...
Spoke with Simonique from Desjardin insurance, she hooked me up with a great rate even with my M1. I'll leave her contact info below if anyone else is having a hard time finding a decent rate with an M1. Definitely give her a call!

Yeah seems like that the best option for me right now, my cars are with Desjardin and they're also the only ones willing to give me insurance with an M1 and then adjust my rate once I get my M2
Just got my m1, was licensed in the past but it expired and I'm getting back into riding again. Which companies offer insurance to an M1 rider? Courses are pushed back till the end of summer and im really hoping to atleast ride with my M1 untill I do my course. Any help is appreciated!
Same here buddy, let my m2 expire a couple years ago, thought I'd never want to ride again so didn't care then, but here I am now with another bike and no license haha
Drivetest is now saying July 2nd as a possible opening date, hopefully they open by then. Otherwise I'll be riding in late fall by the time I get my license :ROFLMAO:
If you check the Google reviews of the place, some people mentioned people are getting turned away by even 5am because the lineup is already going out the building... I really don't understand the logic behind closing all locations but one.. doesn't this defeat the purpose of physical distancing?

This is the only location in Ontario giving written testing, 777 Bay st, seems like people are lining up the night before around midnight to write a test at 0900
Not quite sure, its a location in Toronto, the employees were posting pictures about the ridiculous wait times and overcrowding at the facility on Twitter to get it closed down as it was the only location serving written testing. I cant find them on Twitter now, they may have been taken down
There is the downtown location but it's a 4 hour wait, you gotta be there early like 5am to lineup, and 0 physical distancing taking place, long lineups in a tightly crammed facility, oh and only first 80 get to write a test... its quite a mess
