Post up PICS of members bikes?

Lol yes, the 1100S is a beast, the 939 is a bit tamer, but still brings out my inner hooligan [emoji6]. Took this pic a couple of weeks ago, when I was prepping the bikes for winter...

Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2018 Edition)

Rough day on the way home yesterday. Battery was dead at the office. Luckily, my boss was walking by and gave me a bump start. Riding home directly into the sun around 6pm, glare gave me a headache, even with the peaked visor. Got rear ended by car - just a bump, still... :angry1: just glad...

    Indian FTR1200 video

Looks great, especially with the high pipes. Still a bit too heavy for me, I'll stick to my Ducati Scrambler.

Iron 883 one of the most beautiful and also maligned motorcycle

An XDiavel has way more features (larger fuel tank, dual disk brakes, abs, tc, etc...) , a 1200cc engine, yet is 20lbs lighter (wet weight) than an iron 883.

Iron 883 one of the most beautiful and also maligned motorcycle

They look nice, but why do they have to be so heavy?

"Don't have time to ride anymore": WTF?

I gear up for my daily 30-40 minute rush hour commute both ways every day. Really don't see what the hassle is all about.

    Bike in Venom trailer

Hmm, the trailers I saw had the Scrambler 800 (probably modded Full Throttle) with the low dual exhaust (the scene where he transforms into Venom in mid-air on the motorcycle).

where are all the riders ?

I'm still out there commuting on my bike every day. I much prefer dealing with the regular commuter crowd than weekend drivers any day.

New Riders...Start with a smaller bike!

Yeah, mine is a '15, but I got the heated grips which from I understand has it's own throttle tube. In any case, once I switched to the race Termignoni slip-on with ecu upmap, the fueling was much improved and the snatchiness was gone. I also took out all the slack out in my throttle cable. I...

It's not the track....don't bunch up.

Don't overthink it. Reducing bike lean angle is safer for any curve at any given speed.

    M license

Don't cut anybody off - including pedestrians. If any vehicle shows a brake light due to you merging in front of them, or a pedestrian has to walk around you or stop in their tracks on a crosswalk - that's a fail.

New Riders...Start with a smaller bike!

Similarly, I started on an 800cc (75hp) Ducati Scrambler. Besides a snatchy throttle, which I got used to quickly, it's pretty manageable, but it can bite you if you're not careful. Third season and 24k km later and still enjoying it. I don't push it to the limits every day, but I do have an...
